Mr. Martine founded Martine Properties, Inc. in 1979 and the corporation has been in continual operation since that date. His background includes extensive experience with the negotiation and bidding process of leases with the State of Texas as well as the management and leasing of over 2.5 million square feet of office space throughout Texas. In addition to office leasing and management, Mr. Martine owns and brokers raw land in the Hill Country of Texas.

Mr. Martine's professional affiliations include serving on the executive committee of the board of directors of the Urban Land Institute, board of directors of Downtown Austin Alliance and the Austin Apartment Association. He has served as president of the Austin Commercial Real Estate Society and the Austin Building Owners and Managers Association. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas.

CAROL MARTINE, CPM®

Ms. Martine began her career in real estate in 1979 as an executive assistant with emphasis on human resource management. In 1985, she became an owner and officer of Martine Properties, Inc. and is responsible for the day to day operations of the corporation. Ms. Martine has managed a varied portfolio of real estate including multifamily, office and homeowner associations. She has extensive experience in rehab and maximizing the profitability of moderately older properties.

Ms. Martine has served as president of the Austin Apartment Association (twice), president of Austin Building Owners and Managers Association, member of the Executive Committee of the Texas Apartment Association (twice) and chairman of the board of Foundation Communities. She holds a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Hardin-Simmons University.

Mr. Martine joined the firm in 1999 as senior property supervisor in the office division. He has diverse experience in management, leasing & brokerage of commercial real estate.

Mr. Martine holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree from Texas A & M University and holds the CCIM Designation from the CCIM Institute.
